They say that home is where the heart is, and I am definitely feeling more at home now that we have moved. I do not recommend moving as quickly as I did, but it was well worth it in the end. When I can find my camera (who knows where I tossed it) I'll add a few pics to show off our new place. God really blessed us with a place that fit so much of what we wanted.
Every step we have taken has been God guiding us in the direction He has wanted us to go. A few times we hit bumps in the road (bumps we put there due to our own "thinking we know what to do" moments), but my big Daddy in heaven has been very patient with us, bringing us to this place. I've decided to share more about the little things God has shown me, and also paint bigger pictures as well. I don't mind letting myself hang out there for the world to see because God has made himself abundantly clear in my life to the umpth degree (I know that is not a word).
Perhaps now that I have a moment to sit here and think for a while, my dishes are put away, my clothes are hanging up, and I am pretty sure that most of the things I need to survive (besides my camera) are all accounted for, I can work on my biz a little more, which, more than anything else, is letting the world know how Awesome my Daddy is. :)
Hopefully you like me, if you do, tell your friends. I have so much to write and so many more of my friends to talk about. I am in a new team on Etsy called CAST (Christian Artists Street Team). I will be posting some of my fav items from the sellers on CAST Team and also links to their shops. School is out, I am safely home, and now I just might have time to talk about it.
God Bless
Anna

Small Break: Not Really
This weekend we had to crash move (thanks to the place that we wanted being almost given to someone else) so we had to rush so we could get the exact place we wanted.
The next day my fingers were sore! Yikes! I'll be back to my ol' blogging routine later, but I'll try to get a few things posted here and there.
On a note today, I was searching everywhere (I mean EVERYWHERE) for the chords to Chris Tomlin's new song, "Our God" off of the new album and I finally found it off of this blog, livingforjesus.com. I haven't gone through everything on the site yet so can't say with 100% certainty that this guy has all his ducks in a row, but so far, his ducks are lining up and I'm liking it ;). So, be sure to check it out if you want the chords, you can find them HERE.

Dance With Me
Imagine yourself as the little girl on her daddy's feet as he dances around the room.
Today, I see myself on my Daddy God's feet as he dances around the room with me.
It is amazing, the love of God, that sees us all as little children just dancing with our Daddy.
Dance with the Lover of your soul. There is no sweeter dance.

(Won’t you) Dance with me, O lover of my soul, To the song of all songs
C Am G F C
Romance me, O lover of my soul, To the song of all songs

With you I will go, For you are my love, You are my fair one

My Obsession
What is your obsession?
Do you obsess over your hair, clothes, finances?
My obsession is my Father in Heaven.
A sweet breath that goes past in the gentle breeze.
How I hunger for that Living Water and Breath of Life.
Do you obsess over your hair, clothes, finances?
My obsession is my Father in Heaven.
A sweet breath that goes past in the gentle breeze.
How I hunger for that Living Water and Breath of Life.
Obsession: Originally by Delirious performed by Jesus Culture
What can I do with my obsession?
With the things I cannot see
Is there madness in my being?
Is it wind that blows the trees?
Sometimes you're further than the moon
Sometimes you're closer than my skin
And you surround me like a winter fog
You've come and burned me with a kiss
And my heart burns for you
And my heart burns
Comment and let me know why God is your Obsession.

I Have a Right
How many times have you heard that or thought that?
I have a Right to speak my mind, to eat, to think, to breathe, to live.
It is amazing how many Rights we think we have and the things we go through to keep those Rights, but did you know you really don't have any Rights?
That's right!
We don't have the Right to life, or to anything really. Everything we have ever been given that is good, or anything we will ever receive is because of Love.
Believe it or not, even the bad things that have happened to us is also because of Love.
Our Father loves us so much He gives us exactly what we ask for.
We asked God for our Rights, our independence, and when He gives it to us...well...it isn't always pretty (just look at what Adam did!)
"But what about life?" you ask. "We don't have the Right to life?"
No, we have life because of God's love, not because we have a Right to life.
When we begin to fully grasp that all the good things God has given us ( life, food, clothes, salvation) are all acts of an amazing love, the greater we will come to Love God. If we could but for a moment realize that you don't deserve anything, I don't deserve anything, we have a Right to nothing and yet God, in all His amazing goodness, has done everything we have asked and more because of Love!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says, "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."
No where in that scripture does it say that Love is a Right, and yet our Father, our Abba loves us.
I was once taught that we are God's daily delight, and I reveled in that revelation, but as I began to realize the truth in "we have no Rights" my heart burst with a joy that goes deeper than just being God's daily delight.
I am, we all are, His everything. He, our Daddy, has given us more than we could possibly imagine because none of it has been deserved. God is not forced to give us anything because it is our Right, but yet He gives abundantly because of Love.
How could I ever not see God the same way again. When I thought I had a Right to be here, I was stuck in the monotony of life that even though I knew I had a purpose I was blinded by the ultimate truth. I have no Right to be here, but I am here because my Father loves me so much that He put me here. I was not a mistake because He, God, purposely put me here. There is no book I have ever read that has made this so abundantly clear to me than The Shack
which I reviewed earlier. I do recommend reading that book, but more so, take a moment to revel in the fact that God loves you with an everlasting love, and you are here because He wants to love you.

Book Review: The Shack
I had read a number of reviews before reading this book and about how awesome it was, but I had yet to pick it up. My husband bought me this for Christmas, but I just got to it.
My heart is still churning with what is inside this precious novel. I dare not give away the plot, but if you know me or trust me in any way I would say, "pick up this book and read it."
My heart aches from reading this. It has shown me a more closer and intimate relationship with my Father. I love books that change you and bring you closer to the Lover of our souls. I can think of a number of messages I could preach after reading this, but right now all I can say is read it if you haven't.
Many times God tells us things and we fight because we know that if we give in that it will hurt. I can tell you after reading this book I am hurting, but I am hurting so good. I am letting go of so many of the things that have held me back, and I am feeling absolutely light as air. I can hear some people saying, "Oh, that's so nice, but I am already there," but I can hear the Spirit saying, "no you are not." We can always go further and higher. The Word of God says we go from glory to glory. That means we go from glory, to glory, to glory, to glory, etch. Never stop going up in glory, because when you do, you will be going down.

Funny Law of the Day: No toe tapping
For those of you in New Hampshire you better beware!
You may not tap your feet, nod your head, or in any way keep time to the music in a tavern, restaurant, or cafe.
I suggest you do your best to ignore that ever so tempting beat.
