Polymer Clay Butterfly Tutorial

I made this new tutorial or DIY video on making a polyclay butterfly.  I am still trying different angles to see which one I like better with the camera.  Coming soon is a cell phone case using the butterfly made in this video, and some other cool poly clay things.  I love making these, so refreshing.  LMK what you think.  God Bless

I made my first polymer clay tutorial for youtube, ;) Yay!  It was interesting to do, lol.  I hope everyone enjoys it and can gain something from it, or just have fun watching it. :)  Please let me know what you think and how I can improve.  Thanks

Cell Phone Case Decorating

Well, I am pretty sure I have been gone FOREVER!  I took an accelerated Chemistry class, so I've been very busy.  I'm still in college, still taking another Chemistry class, but a more normal pace one this time around.  Anywho, I hope you missed me ;).  And I hope your ready for some fun projects and whatever else comes to my mind.  For my first offering after being gone for a small portion of my life (I'll tell you more about that later) I give you my very first decorated cell phone case.

 I made some polymer clay flowers and a butterfly to add to the phone, and I didn't have any rhinestones or flatback swarovski crystals, but I was impatient and it was late so no stores were open.  I used czech crystals and swarovski bicone crystals.  I used E600 glue to put them all on the case which is easily removable.  I did this a couple nights ago, have banged my phone around a bit (which is why I need a hard case) and so far so good.  I actually love it, and bought two more clear cases off ebay (at about $1.50 each) so I can make myself two more covers.  I am actually loving this form of art and decoration, and even though I don't really want to even try selling them, since I suck at selling things, I must find some way to feed my addiction, lol.  We shall see.  Coming up later will be a video of me making a pendant thingie.  You'll see. 

I missed you guys, I missed my blog, and hopefully I can get myself in the habit of always stopping by to say HI!

Lost Items

I am currently in the process of trying to find all my stuff ;).  As you know, if you've read my previous posts, I'm living with my MIL right now and, well, lets just say I'm having trouble finding all my craft items and my camera. 

I've been messing with different ways of doing the video blog, and all I have now is my handy dandy laptop webcam for me time, but for my crafts I want my camera, which would look so much nicer not to mention easier to handle and position.  Ah well, for time being I thought I'd let my few followers know what is up, and I hope to soon have a blog that people actually enjoy going to and learning cool things with easy to follow tutorials, laughs, and the Lord above all.  Amen!!

The voice is off a little I think, but I'm going to try different settings to get it to work in later recordings.  Hopefully I can start posting some of my designs in action, aka, while I make them.

Back for More

I have been away too long.  I finished my math final today, and I have my microbiology final tomorrow.  Life has been a bit on the hectic side which has kind of forced me to put everything else on hold.  My husband got denied for disability so now we are going to appeal that, and hopefully be able to get that done within a year or less.  I'll talk about his condition some more some other time.

I have a lot of things to write about and say, but barely find the time.  Now, after tomorrow, I will be able to breathe, at least until January 10th when my Chem 151 class starts, and I put myself on an 8 week crash course.  The class normally takes 16 weeks, but I need to get chem 151 and 152 done before the semester ends so I can graduate with my friend.  Thanks, of course, to the well informed (what!) advisers at my school.  Well informed being a joke that is.

Anywho, I'm living with my MIL again.  If you don't know who that is, it is my Mother-in-Law.  Yep, that is because of the disability again, but you know what, it is okay.  God is still good and He knows better than I.

In fact, I was telling my friend how the night after we found out about my husband being denied disability (a lot doing with his young age) I was taking a bath and crying and singing all at the same time, "You know better than I, You know the way."  You know, from that Joseph, King of Dreams movie.  Yes, tears were streaming from my face, and I was proclaiming that You (God) knows better than I, because, lets face it people, sometimes we don't know what the heck he is thinking, but it's okay because he always knows better than I.
